Overview
Our Train the Trainer programme enhances participants’ instructional skills and provides them with the essential tools and strategies needed to deliver dynamic, engaging, and compelling workshops. It includes a blend of theoretical knowledge, practical application, hands-on practice, feedback, and expert guidance.
Participants will learn how to:
- Take a strategic approach to training by applying the different steps of the training process.
- List the roles, responsibilities, and characteristics of an effective trainer.
- Formulate SMART learning objectives to meet learning and performance needs.
- Discuss the strengths and limitations of various training approaches and methods.
- Select the most appropriate training method/s to achieve learning outcomes.
- Develop a training plan based on the criteria discussed in the course.
- Apply learning principles (including adult learning) to develop and deliver impactful training.
- Create and maintain an effective learning environment for in-person and online deliveries.
- Effectively manoeuvre the Zoom and Microsoft Teams platforms to deliver high-impact training.
- Utilize the most suitable aids to enhance a presentation.
- Use suitable formative and summative assessment methods to assess learning.
- Manage group dynamics and the various personalities during training delivery.
- Commit to taking the steps needed to ensure effective training delivery.
